Shop reviews.

When it comes to shopping for new clothes I seem to gravitate towards a certain shop when looking for a particular piece. So when I realised this I thought I would give you my opinion on different high street stores.

TOPSHOP-  I have to say topshop is probably my number 1 go to store. They do amazing statement pieces but also do basic wardrobe must haves like simple white tees. I think the quality of topshop items are spot on, the clothes are soft and are not going to fall apart. In my opinion topshop either have some items ridiculously overpriced or fairly priced. I would recommend the jamie/leigh jeans and the make up.  They have a really good on-line store and an app which is free. My only tip would be to check the sale items because I have bought a couple of items for over £20 to find out a weak later they are in the sale for £7. TOPSHOP = basics and statement pieces

ASOS-  Asos have lots of clothes to choose from representing different brands and styles. There is a wide price range obviously depending on different brands. They have a good returns service and there shipping is quick and efficient. ASOS= good for when looking for a dress to ware to a wedding for example. Plus they cater to every one.

URBAN OUTFITTERS-  There aren't as many urban outfitters stores but they do have a website which also sells home supplies and they sell small quirky things. When I take a look on there website I literally want to buy everything, they cater to a lot of different styles and have some interesting pieces. However it is stupidly overpriced but some items are just to pretty not to splurge on.URBAN OUTFITTERS= investment pieces and funny gifts.

AMERICAN APPAREL-  They do some good basic pieces but too expensive for my liking. I also find the website a bit confusing. AMERICAN APPAREL= basics and nail polishes.

NEW LOOK- I feel as though new look is in-between primark for prices and somewhere like river island for fashion items. The teens section is really good the items are really on trend and well priced. NEW LOOK= on trend cheaper items.

RIVER ISLAND-  I am going to be honest I have never been keen on river island and I don't know why I just haven't seen anything worth the money as the prices vary.

I know I haven't done every store because I wanted to see if people actually found it useful. If you would like me to review a certain shop then leave a comment and I will make a part 2.
Have a nice day. Ellie xx

It's okay to be shy.

Since my very first school report to my very last I have been given the same speech. It usually begins, 'Ellie is a very quite and hard working member of the class. She is always organised and performs each task to the best of her abilities...'

So then we go from your child isn't an attention seeking brat who finds it necessary to shout out and make stupid noises to actually finding something wrong with the fact I would sit in class and get top marks in tasks and wouldn't call you the worlds worst teacher.

It was always the classic, 'However Ellie hasn't once this year contributed in class lessons and I fell as though she needs to raise her hand more to benefit her understanding. ' Even though I would always get good grades and my technic of listening  had served me well until this point.

No matter how many times the teachers and my parents would tell me to gain confidence I  knew it wasn't going to happen and I stuck to my way of doing things and surprise surprise I did really well at school and the person who was the class clown didn't do so well.

When I was younger I thought I  had to suddenly gain confidence out of nowhere and be really loud (and annoying). I felt like I wasn't normal, when IN FACT BEING A LITTLE MORE RESERVED IS OKAY !

Its just who you are, obviously there are so negatives for example maybe not making as many friends but if they don't like you for you they really are not your friends. If you can maybe as you get older try to gain confidence and like me you probably will because once you leave school you haven't got all the idiots labelling you as quiet. You  have a chance to be who you want to be or who you always were.

If you remain quiet and that suits you more that is also perfectly okay because that is you!

I think being labelled as quiet and shy is thought of as a bad thing when in fact it the opposite you probably listen to people, have respect and are just a little more reserved.
